In 2006 our friends who had Jack and Sally were looking at placing their bunnies because of allergies. We took them in and had a great year. After that we decided to re-home them with a lady & her family with the verbal agreement if things didn't work out we would take them back. After 2 weeks we saw them on Craigs list. After trying to talk with the owners they had been placed with another family and no information was given. 3 weeks later they were again placed on Craig list....still no one would talk to me and let me know what was going on. After the 4th owner, the lady was kind enough to talk to me and we bought the bunnies back. This situation has made us understand no pets are placed without a contract and no pets are placed free.
