We found this cat in a parking lot, he came right up to me and I decided to bring him home.

After much searching on the internet and checking through adds their was one that stuck out. Even tho the lady said her cat had been missing for 2 mths I decided to write and ask her if their was a possibility. He was found in the area he was missing from... but since I live somewhat far from there... in her owners mind it couldn't. But I explained that I took him home.

As it turns out he was her cat, His name is Biscuit. She lives in tucson and her parents were babysitting him when he door dashed and got out. They came over that night about midnight and picked him up. It was truly a joy to re-unite him with his family.

Secretly I didn't want to find his owners but having lost a cat myself I know the torture in not being able to find them and how excited I would be if my lost pet ever came back home. After this situation, I always microchip all my cats & pets. This doesn't guarantee that if they are found someone would turn them in but I hope they would. Its wonderful to be a part of reuniting a grieving owner with their pet.
